For business use, it may be nice if there are a few select cameras that you need to monitor on occassion. This would be great for the iPad, but I understand the possible bandwidth constraints it may put on a wireless network.įor simple home use of one camera at a time, this would really be an excellent app. I'd also love to see multiple feeds possilbe (maybe 4). Here's hoping that M7 can figure out a way to redo the anamorphic display of this to match their PC/Mac based software. The result is a very squished image that is not watchable.

While the M7 PC/Mac software displays it in 4:3 ratio, this app displays it in an exact pixel mapping. This creates an image that is about 720x240 pixels. We have a set-up that uses half-D1 recording settings. While for most users, I would think this to be a 4-star app, however, I have to rate it for myself. The app is fairly stable and seems to connect much quicker to cameras than when it was first released.
